Roblox is a popular online gaming platform where you can play games designed by other users or create and share your own games. Kids can choose from a range of game designs and categories that they’d like to play or ones they just stumble upon, such as shooter-style games, sports games, murder mystery or fighting games. While the game itself looks innocuous, because of the interaction with other players, this game has sadly been associated as being unsafe for children due to historical incidents grooming by online predators. Young players are able to join groups and chat to other players via voice or text. Players do have a choice to either chat with strangers (in a public setting) or people they know, but because parents aren't actively supervising kids on this app many children don't implement any settings themselves. With appropriate settings in place and supervision, this game can be suitable for older children.
